Horizon Book Fair

Horizon families – thank you so much for your support & contributions for the All for Books Coin Drive last week. It was a BIG success! All classrooms will be able to use the money they raised to get books for their classroom! And the Book Fair starts this Friday! Your student will be bringing home the schedule & book fair flyer today/tomorrow. Please stop by & visit us during our open hours! More info is below on how to set up an e-wallet & volunteering. We have 8 volunteer spots still open! Each slot is just 2 hours & you can earn money to shop with at the Book Fair!

Online Shopping: If these times are not convenient for you, or if your child wants a book that is out of stock at our fair, you can order online from Nov. 2-15 using our website www.scholastic.com/bf/horizon50131. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25! Your online orders will also benefit our school.

E-wallet: Scholastic has a shopping option called eWallet. Safe, secure, and free to use! The amount that you deposit into E-wallet stays in that account until it is spent. Example: If you put $20 into E-wallet & your child only uses $15 then the extra $5 will stay in your account to roll over for the next book fair. For more info please go to the website above.

Volunteers Needed: We need a few more volunteers to help the book fair run smoothly. Each shift worked earns a $10 gift certificate to use at the book fair! Click on the following link to see the available shifts.  https://signup.com/Group/446935832014/

Teacher Wish List Box: Want to get your child’s teacher a gift for their classroom? Each teacher has a wish list box at the fair. You can purchase the books directly from the boxes and then give them to the teacher. There are stickers at the cash registers that you can put in the book showing who donated it.

Quick reminder that we are required to charge sales tax on all purchases. Thank you for supporting our school. Book Fair profits are given to the Horizon Media Center and to classroom teachers to purchase materials and books for our students.

Looking forward to another great book fair. Let us know if you have questions!
